In the Conflux set, a cycle of five "Outlanders" was published. They are 2/2 Scout creatures costing two manas from allied colors, with protection from the enemy color. They are all references to another cycle of creatures from the Invasion set, with the same mana costs and abilities. Unlike the creatures from the Conflux cycle, they don't share a creature type, but those that share a color also share a creature type associated with that color:
